Dear Brain,

Anna asked me to contact you. Thank you for your interest in 2006 ISCEA
Supply Chain Conference. We have many Supply Chain tracks for your to
select from. From APICS CPIM or ISCEA CSCM Certifications Prep Workshops
to TOC (Theory of Constraints) to Lean, you will find much value for the
$795 Conference Fee.

All Conference participants are eligible take the CSCM Exam Free of charge
at the Conference( May 25 or May 27, 2006). CSCM is the most recognized
certification in the industry for Supply Chain Managers.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Supply Chain Track 1

Supply Chain Management - Monday, May 22, 2006
In the Basics, you get a complete overview of material flow, from internal
and external suppliers to and from your organization.
Topics include:
- ements of the Supply Chain,
- Just-in-Time (JIT),
- Total Quality Management (TQM),
- Manufacturing Resources Planning (MRP II),
- Demand Planning, and
- Capacity Management.

TOC (Theory of Constraints - Tuesday, May 23, 2006

TOC - Production Management
8:00AM-12:00PM
This workshop introduces participants to the production paradigm of
constraints management. Simple games comparing balanced capacity and
constraints-based capacity production environments are used to illustrate
the impact of statistical fluctuation and dependent events on line
throughput. The control points in a production environment are described,
and how to plan and control these points using the drum-buffer-rope
scheduling methodology is illustrated. VAT analysis and buffer management
are described.

TOC - Supply Chain Management
1:00PM-5:00PM
This workshop introduces participants to the basics of managing a supply
chain using constraints management. Topics include the process of
identifying the constraints (internal and external) of supply chain, chain
performance and flow concepts, the core problems and basic solutions for
different links in a supply chain, and the dilemma of supply
chainsholding too much inventory versus too little inventory.

Supply Chain Track 2

During the Conference you can select to attend an CSCM/CPIM Exam Review
Workshop. Just in 5 days, we will teach all you need to know to pass the
CSCM or CPIM Exams.

All five days for the conference fee of $795.

Basics of Supply Chain Management - Monday, May 22, 2006
In the Basics, you get a complete overview of material flow, from internal
and external suppliers to and from your organization.
Topics include
Elements of the Supply Chain, Just-in-Time (JIT), Total Quality Management
(TQM), Manufacturing Resources Planning (MRP II), Demand Planning, and
Capacity Management.

Master Planning of Resources - Tuesday, May 23, 2006
The course focuses on the importance of producing achievable master
schedules that are consistent with business policies, objectives, and
resource constraints.
Topics include
Demand Management, Sales and Operations Planning, Master Scheduling, and
Measuring Business Performance.

Detailed Scheduling and Planning - Wednesday, May 24, 2006
Study detailed descriptions of material requirements planning (MRP),
capacity requirements planning (CRP), inventory management practices, and
procurement and supplier planning.
Topics include
Recognizing Techniques and Practices of Inventory Management, Mechanics of
the Detailed Material Planning Process, Planning Operations to Support the
Priority Plan, and Planning Procurement and External Sources of Supply.

Execution and Control of Operations - Thurs, May 25, 2006
The course explains techniques for scheduling and controlling production
processes, the execution of quality initiatives and continuous improvement
plans, and the control and handling of inventories.
Topics include
Prioritizing and Sequencing Work, Executing Plans and Implementing
Controls, Authorizing and Reporting Activities for Push and Pull Systems,
and Evaluating Performance and Providing Feedback.

Strategic Management of Resources - Friday, May 26, 2006
The course addresses three main topics: aligning resources with the
strategic plan, configuring and integrating operating processes to support
the strategic plan, and implementing change.
Topics include
Competitive Market Issues, Choices Affecting Facilities, Supply Chain,

Supply Chain Track 3

(TOC) Theory of Constraints.
Six Workshops to get you ready for the TOCSCM (Certified TOC Supply Chain
Manager) Exam!

1.Constraints Management Overview
Monday, May 22, 2006 8:00AM-12:00PM
This workshop introduces participants to the basics of the Constraints
Management: the business system and various types of transformation
processes (production, projects, and supply chain); the goal of business
system; definitions of terms; and the types of constraints. Theory of
constraints performance measurements and simple drum-buffer-rope concepts
are introduced through Socratic exercises and games.

2. Thinking Processes
Monday, May 22, 2006 1:00PM-5:00PM
This workshop introduces participants to the theory of constraints
thinking processes. These powerful logic tools provide skills to answer
the three basic questions facing a manager todaywhat to change, what to
change to, and how to create the change without creating resistance. An
in-depth discussion of the use of the evaporating cloud technique is
presented. This tool is used to solve problems by uncovering and
challenging assumptions related to the way we view the problem.

3. Production Management Overview
Tuesday, May 23, 2006 8:00AM-12:00PM
This workshop introduces participants to the production paradigm of
constraints management. Simple games comparing balanced capacity and
constraints-based capacity production environments are used to illustrate
the impact of statistical fluctuation and dependent events on line
throughput. The control points in a production environment are described,
and how to plan and control these points using the drum-buffer-rope
scheduling methodology is illustrated. VAT analysis and buffer management
are described.

4. Supply Chain Management
Tuesday, May 23, 2006 1:00PM-5:00PM
This workshop introduces participants to the basics of managing a supply
chain using constraints management. Topics include the process of
identifying the constraints (internal and external) of supply chain, chain
performance and flow concepts, the core problems and basic solutions for
different links in a supply chain, and the dilemma of supply
chainsholding too much inventory versus too little inventory.

5. Critical Chain Project Management
Wednesday, May 24, 2006 8:00AM-12:00PM
This workshop introduces participants to the basics of managing a single
project using constraints management. The four-step process of scheduling
a project using critical chain scheduling is illustrated and compared to
traditional project management. Several major problems existing in project
environments are presented, and solutions are illustrated using games and
exercises. The concepts of strategic buffering, project decision support
systems, and multi-project scheduling using critical chains are
introduced.

6 Performance Measure
Wednesday, May 24, 2006 1:00PM-5:00PM
This workshop introduces participants to the problems using traditional
performance measurements. Cost-world measurements of managerial accounting
versus the throughput-world measurements of theory of constraints are
illustrated through the use of the evaporating cloud of technique of TOC
thinking processes. A case study on production batch sizing is used to
illustrate the focus of cost-world thinking versus the focus of
throughput-world thinking. The relationships of drum-buffer-rope
scheduling and buffer management to each step of the five-focusing steps
are introduced.
